Do you run multiple users? My wife and I have separate accounts, so that increases memory pressure, I think. I'm particularly interested in your feedback, since I'm running a 2008 iMac 7,1 (2.8 GHz/4GB RAM), and have felt some memory pressures under Snow Leopard. Some of the newer graphical transitions in stuff like Mission Control (née Exposé/Spaces) run at a lower framerate on the older Macs, but I think that's probably because it's animating more elements at once. You can do the same in other browsers as well, Chrome, Firefox etc.Not a problem or any noticeable speed differences with Lion upgrades across a 2007 MacBook, a 2008 aluminium MacBook and a 2010 MacBook Air.
